Abstract
I takt med computerspillenes udbredelse i halvfemserne indeholder en stigende del af disse kvindelige helte. I firserne og halvfemserne er stærke kvindelige helte samtidig blevet et udbredt fænomen i po- pulærfilm. Artiklen sammenligner den kvindelige computerspils-helt- inde Lara Croft med heltinder fra den tyske film Lola Rennt (1999) og den amerikanske filmatisering af spillet, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). Med udgangspunkt i Manovich og Bolter & Grusin viser forfatteren, hvordan remediering er et teoretisk redskab til at forstå, hvordan nye og gamle medieformer påvirker hinanden. Computerspil låner fra filmen, ligesom filmen omvendt tager udfordringen fra computerspillene op og forandrer tematik, narrativitet og plotstruktur. Artiklen er oversat af Rikke Schubart
