Abstract
This article seeks to reconstruct the main trade networks that existed in southwestern Colombia during the 19* century. It identifies the characteristics of the producís of the different provinces and establishes the degree to which they complemented each other, the volume of their imports and exports, the revenue from customs duties and, finally, the different plans designed to promote production and commerce.
