Abstract
O presente relato de experiência busca refletir sobre o desenvolvimento do Centro de Apoio Popular Estudantil do Tocantins (CAPE-Tins) e o Cursinho Pré-Vestibular oferecido por este projeto de extensão. Foi criado no ano de 2003 e constituído por alunos, ex-alunos, professores e técnicos administrativos da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) e membros extrauniversidade. Apresenta como objetivo precípuo envolver os acadêmicos em questões sociais por meio de ações educativas.
