Abstract
The paper deals with the impact of the European Structural Instruments on Member States’economies. For the beginning, we presented the role of these financial instruments and thestrategically objectives of the European regional policy which can achieve by using them. We focusedon the actual financial perspective, 2007-2013, in order to explain the evolution of the objectives ofregional policy. The last part of the paper deals with the Romania’s situation connected with thesefinancial instruments.
