Abstract
El presente artículo pretende ahondar en el mundo literario y editorial de los exiliados españoles en Nueva York a través de tres ejes: un breve análisis del hispanismo de preguerra que desembocó en la acogida de intelectuales durante y tras la Guerra Civil; un repaso por la situación editorial de la época bélica y de inmediata postguerra; y otro por el mundo de las revistas, editoriales y librerías ‒estadounidenses, españolas de preguerra y fundadas por exiliados‒ más relevantes para el hispanismo de las décadas posteriores, estando ya asentada la comunidad exiliada.
