Abstract
La bibliografía sobre las relaciones entre la Iglesia católica y el autodenominado Proceso de Reorganización Nacional (1976-1983), ha hecho foco en las posiciones que tomaron sus distintos integrantes frente a las violaciones de los derechos humanos. A diferencia de lo que ocurrió con la Iglesia en Chile y Brasil, en la Argentina sus máximos representantes apoyaron decididamente la represión y el terrorismo de Estado de los primeros años. En este artículo analizaremos un aspecto poco trabajado aún sobre la Iglesia y es la manera en que intentó influir en la política educativa del Proceso. Estudiaremos el contenido del periódico Consudec que fue creado en 1963 por el Consejo Superior de Educación Católica o CONSUDEC, que nucleaba a los colegios secundarios y terciarios y se fundó a fines de los años treinta.
