Abstract
Un estudio longitudinal demuestra que es posible predecir el curso del desarrollo del lenguaje en niños pequeños. La capacidad de los niños de asociar objetos con palabras nuevas a la edad de 17-20 meses, medida mediante la tarea de intercambio, permite predecir su nivel de desarrollo del lenguaje hasta dos años y medio más tarde.
