Abstract
Las condiciones geográficas de nuetro país con muy propicias a la erosión del suelo. Exceptuando el sureste, las cuencas hidrográficas son en general reducidas, los causes de los ríos son de corta longitud y de fuertes pendientes. Las lluvias, irregularmente distribuidas en el territorio nacional lo están tambien a través del año, concentrándose en cuatro o cinco meses durante los cuales los intensos chubasco deslavan las tierra dificientemente protegidas.
