Abstract
Este trabalho aborda a importância da metodologia da compreensão existencial no contexto pedagógico reflexivo, propondo aos profissionais da educação parâmetros para o desenvolvimento de uma consciência situada, na qual a visão de totalidade indivisa se revela pelo permanente processo de integração das três instâncias que compõem o ecossistema mental: o 'conhecimento', a 'sensibilidade' e a 'ação'. Sugere ao educador a construção de uma sólida base compreensiva existencial, que dará significação aos seus saberes e fazeres no cenário em que atua.
The article addresses the importance of the methodology of existential understanding within the context of reflective pedagogy. It proposes parameters that educators can use in developing a situated consciousness, where a vision of the indivisible totality is made evident through the ongoing integration of the mental ecosystem's three facets: knowledge, sensitivity, and action. It suggests that educators build a solid base of existential understanding so as to lend significance to their knowledge and to the actions they take on stage.
