Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empirik asertivitas terhadap pengungkapan emosi marah pada remaja. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada korelasi asertivitas terhadap pengungkapan emosi marah pada remaja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 174 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana dari program SPSS 16 for windows. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,293 dengan taraf signifikan 0,00. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa hipotesis diterima, yaitu ada korelasi yang signifikan antara asertivitas terhadap pengungkapan emosi marah pada remaja. Persamaan garis regresinya yaitu Y = 53,953 + (-0,207)X, yang berarti setiap kali variabel asertivitas (X) bertambah satu, maka rata-rata variabel pengungkapan emosi marah (Y) menurun sebesar 0,207.
