Abstract
The effect of rice polishing was studied for 136 days on growth rate of major carps, stocked in earthen ponds with fertilizers (TI) and without fertilizers (!2). Rice polishing with inorganic fertilizer and cow dung, applied to 50 fish gave 1.836 times greater fish yield than when rice polishing was applied without fertilizers. The growth rate with TI was calculated to be 169.09 ± 59.96 gm/day and with T2 it was 91.86 ± 42.97 grn/day.
