Abstract

Este artigo discute a interface entre o esporte, o jornalismo e o turismo, tendo como objeto de estudo a Copa do Mundo da FIFA realizada no Brasil, em 2014. O megaevento esportivo influenciou diretamente o cotidiano da população, com conseqüências diretas à economia do país. Neste contexto, o legado dos investimentos ainda está sendo debatido não só em termos de infraestrutura,. Uma possibilidade de análise dessa questão é a parceria entre turismólogos e jornalistas, ao desenvolver, conjuntamente, setores relacionados ao lazer, como as atividades físicas e esportivas.
