Abstract
Por su carácter de polimicrobianas, la infecciones odontogénicas pueden ser el origen de cuadros sépticos graves, ya que por su ubicación se pueden difundir a través de los espacios anatómicos desde la cavidad oral hasta el tórax o hacia la bóveda craneana.
Las complicaciones revisadas en este artículo, corresponden a episodios diagnosticados y manejados en equipos multidisciplinarios en nuestro centro hospitalario.
