Abstract
Se informa acerca del aislamiento de seis gérmenes de género aeromonas, procedentes de material humano. Se estudian las características bioquímicas y se ponen de manifiesto las diferencias con los representantes típicos del género. Se estudia experimentalmente la acción de la toxina sobre ratones y la producción de hemolisina y su neutralización por un suero específico. Se demuestra la presencia de anticuerpos en el suero de dos de los pacientes en los que se hizo el aislamiento del germen.
