Abstract
Neste trabalho, demonstra-se o tratamento do ensino de língua portuguesa em cursos superiores de tecnologia em instituições particulares na região do ABC paulista, utilizando os estudos sobre Gênero Textual realizados por Motta-Roth (2006), conceitos de comunicação empresarial propostos por Junior (1999) e Bueno (2003), pesquisa de campo sobre ementas e planos de aula. Além disso, discute-se o universo em que estão inseridas as aulas e se apresenta orientação pautada nas análises sobre contexto situacional elaboradas por Koch (2003).
