Abstract
La narrativa de Rafael Courtoisie presenta una serie de particularidades estilísticas y retóricas que, más allá del plano de la forma, construyen modos singulares de generación de sentido ficcional. Este artículo analiza la obra Vida de perro (1997), formada por 53 fragmentos heterogéneos y narratológicamente inconexos. La tesis que aquí se defenderá es que esta obra alcanza su coherencia y unidad de sentido en la oposición de todos los fragmentos a lo que Agamben denomina “maquinaria antropológica”, es decir, el conjunto de visiones y discursos por los cuales históricamente lo humano sólo ha sido concebido en oposición a lo animal.
