Abstract
The paper starts with description of two main dimensions of urban spatial structures: monoandpolycentric model. As city forms it passes through four phases: urbanization,suburbanization, de-urbanization and re-urbanization. This is linked on population densityin cities therefore in the paper evolution of urban population in various types of countriesand regions are integrated.
