Abstract
O lançamento da coleção Leituras do corpo é uma importante iniciativa de divulgação
científica dos estudos recentes acerca do corpo desenvolvidos pelas Ciências
Cognitivas, pelas Teorias Evolutivas da Cultura e pela Crítica de Arte por contribuir para
a consolidação do entendimento do corpo como mídia do conhecimento, tão necessário
para inscrever as discussões sobre esse assunto num registro teórico cientificamente
embasado.

<b>Abstract</b> The launching of the Leituras do corpo (Reading Body Collection) is a very
important initiative for the scientific divulgation on body studies, developed by Cognitive
Sciences, Evolutionary Theories of Culture and the Art Criticism, because it add up
for the consolidation of the way of understanding the body as media of knowledge,
so necessary for to inscribe the discussion about this subject in a theoretical register
scientifically supported.
