Abstract
Sistiserksosis merupakan penyakit zoonosis yang disebabkan oleh larva cacing Taenia solium yang berdampak serius pada kesehatan hewan maupun manusia. Bali merupakan salah satu daerah endemis sistiserkosis di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seroprevalensi sistiserkosis pada babi yang dipotong di tempat pemotongan babi (TPB) Penatih, Denpasar. Sebanyak 180 sampel serum babi dikumpulkan dari TPB, kemudian diuji dengan Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seroprevalensi sistiserkosis pada babi di TPB Penatih, Denpasar sebesar 1,1% (2/180). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa seroprevalensi sistiserkosis pada babi di TPB, Penatih Denpasar adalah rendah, walaupun demikian tetap diperlukan program oleh instansi terkait untuk memberantas penyakit ini di Bali.
