Abstract
¿Qué le piden los anunciantes actuales a la publicidad? Probablemente esta pregunta esté mal formulada, no se trata de lo que el anunciante le pide a la publicidad, sino de lo que la publicidad actual es capaz de hacer o conseguir. Aplicando una visión diacrónica, y en el caso concreto de la publicidad española, si la década de los ochenta se caracterizó por la espectacularidad en la inversión y producción publicitarias, los noventa supusieron el enfrentamiento con una serie de dificultades que impedían garantizar la eficacia del mensaje. Centrándonos en el aspecto de la recepción y en el medio televisión, concurren una serie de factores que caracterizan el panorama audiovisual español.
