Abstract
Abstract This article reconstructs an unexplored dimension in the area of Catholic nationalist intellectuals emerged in Argentina in the late 1920s: the anti-oriental reaction and the concomitant “defense of the West” that arises in response to positive assessments of the East that were developed in a significant part of the intellectual field.
