Abstract

This article deals with the inseparable relationship with the language, culture and society in language teaching. It aims to propose a postgraduate course for the treatment of fonosintácticos phenomena speech in teaching ELE, aimed at improving the mastery of this subject by teachers, which can contribute to strengthening listening comprehension of students in a context of cultural immersion. The main procedures used were content analysis for an objective and systematic description of the contents presented in the course; and sociophonetics that allowed characterize and study of speech sounds, taking into account the relationship between the articulatory features and socio-cultural origins of the speakers.
