Abstract
Este artigo lança um pequeno ensaio com o intuito de instigar a reflexão sobre a questão do biopoder no Brasil, sobretudo na política desenvolvimentista do período governamental de Juscelino Kubitschek. Para isto utiliza-se de breves passagens do texto Um Projeto para o Brasil, de Celso Furtado, juntamente com um recorte do contexto em que a obra se insere: o período marcado pelo nacional-desenvolvimentismo brasileiro de meados da década de 50 e 60. Neste sentido coloca-se a questão do poder disciplinar e da biopolítica sob a perspectiva lançada por Michel Foucault para insinuar uma crítica ao período desenvolvimentista brasileiro como um período que alargou de vez esta tecnologia governamental, como tecnologia necessária para se gerenciar não só as estruturas do Estado, mas também para controlar e gestionar eficientemente os indivíduos e a população envolvidas.
