Abstract
Este artículo analiza el reciente proceso constituyente boliviano como un escenario de disputas sociales y políticas por el tipo de economía por plasmar en la Nueva Constitución. En la primera parte se hace referencia al entramado monocultural, colonial y excluyente que ha sostenido una forma de entender la economía, la cual ha estado respaldada por la Constitución en favor de un bloque específico de poder. En la segunda parte, el escenario constituyente se analiza como oportunidad histórica para debatir el sentido de la economía. Como resultado de esa disputa, surge el modelo económico nacional productivo dentro del texto constitucional.
