Abstract
INTRODUCCIÓN: la relevancia de este estudio radica en el reto que la inmigración supone para nuestra sociedad. Después de presentar el perfil del inmigrante no comunitario, y tras repasar la complejidad de las relaciones que se establecen entre éste y el profesional de la salud, se exponen los principales modelos de evaluación. A partir de éstos, se genera una variedad de métodos de evaluación aplicables en la educación para la salud, entre ellos, nos detenemos en el análisis del modelo respondente de stake. OBJETIVO: ofrecer un instrumento para la evaluación de los programas de promoción de la salud en el colectivo de inmigrantes. METODOLOGÍA: búsqueda activa, complementada con una revisión bibliográfica sobre el estado actual de la evaluación de programas en general, y sobre la inmigración en nuestro entorno más inmediato. RESULTADOS: dadas las características de la población inmigrante, el uso del modelo respondente de robert stake resulta apropiado en la evaluación de programas de promoción de la salud para inmigrantes. CONCLUSIONES: la evaluación de programas de promoción de la salud debe huir de las "cuasi evaluaciones" consistentes en informes numéricos y datos estadísticos, obviando otros aspectos fundamentales.
INTRODUCTION: The main issue of this article is the challenge that immigration becomes to our society . After showing the non community immigrant´s profile and the complexity of the immigrants and health staff relationships´, we show the main evaluation models, from which a variety of different methods emerge, some of them applicable to health education programmes. We´ll analyze the "respondent" model of stake. OBJETIVE: to offer a tool to evaluate health education programmes for immigrants. METHODOLOGY: active research and bibliographical revision about programmes evaluation and immigration in our closer context. RESULTS: in view of the profile of immigrants, the use of the model of stake is suitable for health promotion programes evaluation in immigrant population. CONCLUSIONS: health promotion programmes evaluation mustn´t be a "cuasi evaluation" that consists just of figures and percentages, without considering other important aspects
