Abstract
This article evaluates the economic policies of recent years on the basis of statistical indicators. The necessity of reforms in economic policy and the construction of new public management mechanisms redistribution system resources to minimize the crisisis established. The strategy for further development in the context of economic recovery and European integration is determined. The article determines the need for the creation and rapid development of its innovation strategy to accelerate economic growth and closer cooperation with the EU. The question of the need of public funding of innovation and the creation of favorable conditions for attracting international investors and creating its own business network.The certain gaps in the legislative provision is emphasized of the matter. The need to create new mechanisms of stimulation and promotion of high-tech production, subject to control by the state to prevent the occurrence of corruption and shadow schemes is revealed. It is emphasized the need to review the existing processes, the possibility of privatization and modernization of obsolete enterprises to reduce resource and energy consumption of production. After the analysis of changes in foreign relations of Ukraine the urgency of accelerating the development of new industries to enhance cooperation with the EU and full membership is defined.
