Abstract
A partir de las consideraciones
freudianas acerca de la función intelectual
del juicio, de su origen psicológico,
de los caracteres comunes
y diferenciales de las neurosis y de
las psicosis y de su grado de compromiso
con la realidad, se aborda
el análisis de las “Meditaciones
metafísicas” de Descartes, centrado
en las implicaciones subjetivas de la
aplicación del método de la duda
para el acceso al conocimiento
claro y distinto de sí, de Dios y
del mundo. Se arriba a la consideración
de que dicha aplicación
del método implica la inducción
de un estado al que se denomina
“Psicosis metodológica”. Se considera
que dicho artificio cartesiano
puede ilustrar lo que acontece en
el artificio metodológico aplicado
en la investigación psicoanalítica.
Palabras clave: duda, investigación,
juicio, método, psicosis.
Abstract
Drawing on Freud’s considerations
regarding the intellectual function
of judgment, it s psychological
origin, the common and differentiated
characters of neurosis and
psychosis, and their degree of
commitment to reality, this article
analyses Descartes’s Metaphysical
Meditations, focusing on the
subjective implications of applying
the method of doubt to the search
for clear and distinct knowledge of
the self, God, and the world. The
consideration is reached that such
application of the method implies
induction into a state that is referred
to as “Methodological Psychosis.” It
is maintained that the Cartesian artifice
may illustrate what happens in
the methodological artifice applied
to psychoanalytic investigation.

Résumé
Une analyse des « Méditations
métaphysiques » de Descartes est
entreprise ici à partir des observations
freudiennes sur la fonction
intellectuelle du jugement, de sa
source psychologique, des aspects
communs et différentiels des névroses
et des psychoses y et de son
degré d’entente d’avec la réalité.
Ladite analyse s’adonne à l’examen
des implications subjectives de la
méthode du doute en tant qu’accès
à la connaissance claire et distincte
de soi, de Dieu et du monde. C’est
ainsi qu’on arrive à penser qu’une
telle application de la méthode
implique l’induction d’un état qu’on
appelle « psychose méthodologique
». Un tel artifice cartésien peut
bien illustrer ce qui se passe dans
l’artifice méthodologique appliqué
dans la recherche psychanalytique.
