Abstract
Plantea un análisis referido a las funciones básicas de las escuelas especiales, a partir de los cambios conceptuales en la Educación Especial. Profundiza en la integración y sus concepciones en Cuba y en el mundo en diferentes etapas; como máxima aspiración para los escolares con Retardo en el Desarrollo Psíquico, para el logro de la atención a la diversidad.
