<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: ";Times New Roman";; mso-fareast-font-family: ";DejaVu Sans";; mso-font-kerning: .5pt; mso-ansi-language: PT-BR; mso-fareast-language: #00FF; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">O artigo em tela examina criticamente o processo de revisão historiográfica do cinema cubano, promovido durante décadas pelos órgãos estatais da ilha – destacadamente o ICAIC -,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>abordando seus efeitos em relação à produção fílmica e crítica e questionando, por outro lado, as razões da negligência, pelo cânone internacional dos Estudos de Cinema, para com a produção teórica gerada na Cuba pós-revolucionária.</span>
