Abstract

Neste artigo são distinguidas duas modalidades da prática do comércio ilegal de drogas na cidade do Rio de Janeiro a partir dos modos de sociabilidade predominantes que particularizam as redes do tráfico do morro e da pista. São observados os aspectos circunstanciais sob os quais elas operam, ressaltando o papel das diferentes relações com o território e as dinâmicas organizacionais e hierárquicas distintas na produção dos modos violentos ou normalizados de sociabilidade encontrados no mercado ilegal de drogas. Em se tratando de redes interconectadas, são apontadas algumas notas sobre seus pontos de contato.

 

In the article “Morro” versus “pista”: A comparative study on different dynamics of illegal drug trade, two modalities of the illegal drug trade practice in Rio de Janeiro are distinguished with basis on the prevailing sociability modes which particularize the slum(“mono”)’s and the middle cluss (“pista”)’s traffic networks. The circumstantial aspects under which they operate are observed.
Emphasis is given to the role of the different relations with territory and the distinct hierarchical and organizational dynamics in the production of violent or normalized sociability modes found in the illegal drug market. As they are interconnected networks, some notes on the intersection between the two are pointed out.
