Abstract
RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir a presença de línguas estrangeiras em pichações e grafites na cidade de Juiz de Fora/MG, considerando os tempos de superdiversidade (VERTOVEC, 2007) em que estamos inseridos. A superdiversidade está ligada a fatores como o surgimento e a expansão da Internet, a questões de mobilidade social e ao desenvolvimento da tecnologia em geral, que têm promovido contatos linguístico-culturais muito mais intensos e a ampliação dos repertórios comunicativos (RYMES, 2010). Assim, essa pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa busca descrever essa realidade que existe no mundo inteiro em diferentes graus, considerando dados coletados em entrevistas com pichadores e grafiteiros, e fotografias da paisagem linguística da cidade.
