The conservation of the ethnological touristic potential belonging to the Saxon community of Petreşti (Alba county). The paper wants to make known the spiritual richness of the Saxons in Petreşti, mirrored in the fixed of traditions or those with a mobile date of this community, which has established itself in the area around the XII century. Even if presently the number of Saxons is reduced, their presence is felt through the spiritual and material richness that they have left to through the generations such as: traditional costumes, dwellings, houses etc. We want to present the customs of the Saxons that were brought together with them and have spread in the whole village, also being taken up by the Romanians. The harmonious mingling of these cultures make the locality look compact at first sight but different at the same time if we try to understand the Romanian customs aside from the Saxon ones.
