Abstract
The study of dominant value orientations of youth is very important today, because during the process of cybersocialization young people are more and more involved in the internet communities.
The involvement of youth into the different internet communities can reflect what is valuable to them and what attracts them. From the other side, the internet communities can form values of youth by themselves.
In order to study the correlation between the dominant value orientations of youth and their participation in the internet communities with a similar themes we suggested, that there is a correlation between the presence of such positive values of youth as altruistic values, socially political values, «moral», family values, «self-development», «friendship», «status», «leisure», «education», «professional and educational - professional activities», «recognition from the other persons», «purpose and meaning of life», «self-dependence», «creativity», «appeal», «relationships with older generations», financial values and participation of youth in the internet communities with a similar themes.
67 persons in the age of 16-17 took part in our research.
They were interviewed with the help of inquirer «Value orientations», that was suggested by M.R. Ginzburg and with the help of inquirer «Positive internet communities». And there was discovered the correlation between the presence of such positive values of youth as «status», «creativity», «appeal», «friendship», «professional and educational – professional activities», «moral» and participation of youth in the internet communities with a similar themes.
