Abstract
Two specimens of Eocene snails of the species Velates perversus (Gmelin, 1791) are considered. The first was found in Lower Eocene flysch beds at the Vipol‘e locality in Gori{ka brda, and the second one in Middle Eocene flysch beds below the settlement Gračišće near Pazin in Istria (Croatia).
