Abstract
Berlín puede ser considerada la ciudad de la arquitectura en el siglo XX: por su torturada vida política, ha sido el lugar de los acontecimientos más críticos de la historia de Europa, con reflejo directo en su territorio. Ello ha originado todo tipo de reflexiones referidas a la relación entre Nueva Arquitectura y Ciudad Histórica: desde el Concurso Gran Berlín de 1910, hasta los planes de reconstrucción de 1945 y la Interbau 57, la IBA 84/87 y los proyectos actuales ligados a la nueva capitalidad.
