Abstract
Esse artigo tem como tema o estudo da subjetividade da mãe agressora acompanhada pela política de Assistência Social, em articulação à construção social da maternidade, a partir de uma perspectiva psicanalítica. Destacamos os indicadores: exercício da maternidade, negligência e intervenção profissional. Concluímos que a escuta da mulher em suas questões subjetivas é essencial não bastando a excessiva legalização das relações para interromper as situações de violência contra os filhos no ambiente doméstico.
