Abstract
Este artículo pasa revista a la propaganda que apareció en Heraldo de Zamora, un diario de tradición liberal, entre el comienzo de la Guerra Civil y el ascenso al poder de Franco. Se analizan los temas y las técnicas, junto a otros aspectos significativos: el lenguaje, la iniciativa y la ideología. Toca brevemente, por último, el tema de la publicidad en relación con la propaganda. Una propaganda que tendrá entre sus rasgos peculiares el castellanismo, la moderada presencia de lo religioso, la receptividad a lo falangista y la importante atención a los obreros como tema y destinatarios.
