Abstract
En este artículo se analiza la manera en que se ha venido dando el proceso migratorio de mexicanos a Estados Unidos, enfatizando en el estado de Guerrero y particularmente en la comunidad de Julián Blanco, municipio de Chilpancingo, enclavado en el medio rural guerrerense, en donde se estudian las causas de la migración local, los impactos generados por este, las rutas que usan los migrantes y su inserción en el mercado laboral de los Estados Unidos.
