Abstract
Se efectuó un estudio de 160 pacientes con cuadro clínico-radiológico sugestivo de neoplasia de pulmón, a los cuales se les realizó fibrobroncoscopia como método fiable en la detección de esta entidad y se empleó la biopsia por ponche, la citología exfoliatriz y el lavado bronquial para obtener las muestras para el estudio histológico. Del total de pacientes estudiados, 112 casos fueron positivos y en 90 se obtuvo un diagnóstico acertado por biopsia
