Abstract
Wegener’s granulomatosis (WG) — a rare systemic disease of unknown origin. Histopathologically it is characterized by granulomatous necrotizing systemic vasculitis, the upper and lower airways are involved most often with further lung involvement. WG onset in most cases differs by non-specificity of clinical picture and the complexity of timely diagnosis, which leads to a delay of treatment and poor prognosis. Cases of WG, which caused considerable difficulties at the initial stage of diagnostic process, are described.
