Abstract
We studied the breeding ecology of the Great Cormorant on Obytichna spit (Prymorskyi district, Zaporizhia region) in 2015. We analyzed the dynamics of the number of cormorants, characteristics of breeding habitats, and breeding phenology since 1983. The structure of nesting colony, the size of clutches and the daily activity of the cormorants were also studied. We analyzed the breeding densities, height of trees and patern of nest location, and the size of clutches.
