Abstract
En este artículo se dará cuenta de dos proyectos que forman parte de dos líneas de investigación complementarias. Ambos se llevaron a cabo en el seno de la Escola Universitària d’Hoteleria i Turisme CETT-UB (EUHT CETT-UB), una escuela universitaria de hotelería y turismo adscrita a la Universidad de Barcelona que ofrece un Grado en Turismo, entre otros programas formativos. Ambos, a su vez, tenían como objetivo último desarrollar la competencia comunicativa oral en inglés como lengua extranjera (LE) de los estudiantes que participaron en sendas acciones didácticas destinadas a explorar la aplicabilidad de dos instrumentos pedagógicos: la carpeta de aprendizaje o portafolios y el blog de clase.
