Abstract
Environmental concern has led the agricultural community to search soil management systems aimed at maintaining or improving the quality of agricultural soils. The objective of this study was to evaluate soil quality (QS), by means of chemical and microbiological attributes under different use systems, natural savannah, planting sugarcane, forestation with sabiá, intercropping manioc + corn + beans cowpea (MCB) and coconut planting. The study was developed in the Campus Cauamé UFRR. In each area were opened four mini-trench and soil samples collected at depths from 0.0 to 0.05 m, 0.05 to 0.10 m, 0.10 to 0.20 me from 0.20 to 0.40 m. The samples were subjected to chemical analysis, soil organic matter (SOM) and microbiological. Noting that forms land use provide improved soil fertility and of the content of MOS, when compared with the natural conditions of savannas, these being more Evident in the layers of 0.00 -0.05 and 0.05 - 0.10 m, with emphasis on cultivation in an MMF consortium. The CA and MMF management systems were efficient the use of MOS, and could be used as form of MO increase in savanna soils in Roraima. The MMF, CA and FS systems presented Increased C-BMS, with greater evidence in the first layers (0.0-0.05 and 0.05-0.10 m). As forms of proportional land use, to some extent, improved soil fertility and MOS Compared with the natural conditions of the savanna hnoting that land use forms provide improved soil fertility and of the content of MOS, when compared with the natural conditions of savannas. = A preocupação ambiental tem levado a comunidade agrícola a buscar manejos que visam a manutenção ou melhoria da qualidade dos solos agrícolas. Objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar a qualidade do solo (QS), por meio de atributos químicos e microbiológicos, submetido a diferentes sistemas de uso, sendo: pomar de coqueiros (CO), cultivo de cana-de-açúcar (CA), cultivo em consórcio de mandioca, milho e feijão-caupi (MMF), florestamento com sabiá (FS) e, como referência, a savana natural (SN). Em cada sistema, foram abertas quatro minitrincheiras e coletadas amostras de solos nas profundidades de 0,0 - 0,05 m, 0,05 – 0,10 m, 0,10 – 0,20 m e 0,20 – 0,40 m. Avaliaram-se nas amostras características químicas e microbiológicas. Observando que as formas de uso do solo proporcionaram melhoria da fertilidade do solo e do teor de MOS, quando comparados com as condições naturais de savana, sendo essas alterações mais evidentes nas camadas de 0,00 –0,05 e 0,05 – 0,10 m, com destaque para o cultivo em consórcio MMF. Os sistemas de manejos CA e MMF mostraram-se eficientes no aporte de MOS, podendo vir a ser usados como forma de incremento de MO nos solos de savana em Roraima. Os sistemas MMF, CA e FS apresentaram aumento do C-BMS, com maior evidência nas primeiras camadas (0,0-0,05 e 0,05-0,10 m). As formas de uso do solo proporcionaram, em alguma medida, melhoria da fertilidade do solo e do teor de MOS, quando comparados com as condições naturais da savana.
