Abstract
La formación de pasivas es un fenómeno que ha interesado siempre a los gramáticos de las distintas lenguas, sea cual fuere el modelo teórico o la escuela en la que hayan inscrito su investigación, hasta el punto de que la bibliografía existente sobre el tema es amplísima y muy variada en cuanto a concepciones y en cuanto al tipo de datos que se manejan. El interés de la disciplina hacia la pasiva ha de estar forzosamente relacionado con el hecho especial de que, entendida como construcción, se corresponde siempre con una oración activa correspondiente1 y, entendida como proceso, resulta lo suficientemente regular y productivo como para despertar las ganas de sistematizarlo, describirlo o explicarlo.
