Abstract
Abstract: The aim of this article is to answer the question: "What is the post-colonial?"Without claiming to cover all of its meanings, I propose to gather the thoughts of some of its leading interpreters and, through them and the different perspectives that they envision, reach an objective definition, which has in its content, scope and importance of the concept post-colonial. The focal point that stands out among the authors listed is the removal of binary forms of opposition and explanation of colonialism and post-colonialism, which become unsustainable before the process of transculturation.
