Abstract
Convinced that, after the United States joined the war, the peace would be organised according to their will, the Romanian gov
ernment decided to send to Washington knowledgeable people, with charisma and strength, to inform the American public opinion about the justified wishes of the Romanians in order to
create a wave of sympathy and support for them. This was Major Livius Teiuşanu.
