Abstract
Krzysztof Kieslowskis er i Vesteuropa blevet rosende modtaget af
såvel kritikerstanden som af et bredt feinschmeckerpublikum. I den-
ne artikel foretager Erik Svendsen en grundig analyse af den polske
instruktørs seneste - og måske sidste? - film, trilogien "Blå", "Hvid"
og "Rød". "Trikoloretrilogien" giver et signalement af den vestlige
modernitet, hvis grundværdier er formuleret i den franske revolutions
slogan om frihed, lighed og broderskab, men artiklen påviser, at det i
lige så høj grad er de bibelske ønsker om tro, håb og kærlighed, der
undersøges i filmene.
