Abstract
Político é uma palavra derivada do latim politicus, do grego politikos, como adjetivo é empregado para designar tudo que se refere ao Governo ou ao Poder Público. Mas, como substantivo designa o homem que exerce atividades públicas, ou seja, a arte de bem governar os povos.
Em seu livro “A Política", Aristóteles definiu todo homem como político, pois
vivemos em sociedade. Uma das principais e essenciais condições do ser humano é o fato de viver agregado a outros homens na intenção de realizar um fim, ou de cumprir um objetivo de interesse comum, para o qual todos devem cooperar, ou trabalhar. Sendo inconcebível um homem que vive sozinho ou aquele chamado auto-suficiente, pois assim ele deixa de ser homem, se torna um deus ou uma fera, ou simplesmente não sobrevive.
