Abstract
La situación de la mujer indígena no ha cambiado a través de la historia, a pesar de que se esfuerza y trabaja sigue viviendo en condiciones de marginación y pobreza. Ahora, en la Década de los Pueblos Indígenas (1995-2004), cuando se ha reconocido mundialmente su primordial papel como actor en la sociedad, nos enfrentamos ante un verdadero reto no solamente al reivindicar su devaluada dignidad como ser humano, sino al mejorar su condición y calidad de vida.
