Abstract
The book review refers to a recently published monograph devoted to sociology of medicine. The monograph contains an overview of recent studies conducted in Russia in the field of sociology of public health. Authors overview concepts used in public health as well as results of their own research. They also discuss measures that are deemed relevant to improve population health and cover wide range of medical and social challenges of health care in Russia. The monograph may be interesting for health care managers and researchers.
